At a special event in Monaco last weekend, Mission Blue partners, the BLUE Ocean Film Festival & Conservation Summit announced that the next event will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida, November 3-9, 2014.

BLUE also announced a strategic partnership with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, with plans to bring the global ocean film festival to Monaco every other year starting in 2015! http://bit.ly/1aDoNhu

One by one, the dominoes fall for the shark fin industry. Now Emerates Sky Cargo has announced it's decision not to accept shark fins for transport. This is especially significant as the UAE is a major exporter of shark fin to Hong Kong from all over the Middle East, most notably Yemen. With this, we have successfully knocked out another link in the supply chain!
