Double Dare Movie getting some love from A Mighty Girl!
Love this incredible picture of Wonder Woman stunt double Jeannie Epper with Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter in 1976! Epper was a trailblazer for women in the stunt industry; as Carter explained, “even in the late '70s, it wasn't uncommon for men to double women for sequences that involved the kinds of things we did [on Wonder Woman].” In speaking about her work as a stuntwoman, Epper said: "There’s not any one thing I can say about why I love it. It’s not for the paycheck. It empowers me. It gives me a sense of great accomplishment and control. As a woman, when you pull off something that only men do, it raises respect for all women.”
