🏆 Our script, "Like I Did Yesterday" by Claire Haines, got its first win! It was recognized at the Film Fesitval in New Jersey as the Best Unproduced Screenplay. We are so excited to start fundraising and begin production on this film at the end of the year.
Logline: A couple meets late at night in the diner where their relationship began, confronting the sad realization that love alone is not always enough to keep two people together, as they say goodbye.

🎨 Color is something we think about from day one on every project.
Warm when a scene is about intimacy. Cold when something feels wrong. Deep red when everything falls apart. Those choices aren’t just made in post, they start with a conversation on set.
That’s only possible when you have the right people. Our DP Jordyn Grace for giving every scene its own emotional signature, and to our gaffer Avery Hudson for making sure the light always did exactly what the story needed. Along with our production designer saz. Samantha Alexa Zoe and art director Leila who brought in intentional palettes with costumes and art pieces. Without their great collaboration and teamwork, this wouldn’t have been possible.

“Stages” opens with a kiss. Then he’s gone. Nothing but blood.
Nightmares often don’t start in the dark, they start somewhere safe, somewhere you love, and then the floor drops out. We wanted Dalila’s opening nightmare to feel exactly like that. One second you’re holding someone. The next you’re screaming with their blood on your face and you don’t know how you got there.
🎬 From cast to crew, a moment like this only works when everyone is fully locked in. And every single person on set has to trust each other enough to go there together.
That’s what making short films is really about. The budget is small, the crew is tight, and you’re left with creative problem solving to make your art and tell your story. Our crew is top notch and absolutely crushed this opening scene💪

🎙️ RADIO THEATER AUDITIONS 🎙️
Code Bear Media is casting performers for our inaugural Radio Theater Mystery Series. This summer, we’ll be recording six classic radio plays, including “The Hitch Hiker”, “Sorry, Wrong Number”, “The Thin Man”, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, and more.
Directed by Patricia Keeling-Haines, these productions will be recorded live and distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and other streaming platforms.
We’re looking for performers of all experience levels who are excited to collaborate, tell great stories, and help bring these classic scripts to life. As our first time venturing into this space, this is a volunteer opportunity.
