Guardian is the recently retired San Francisco Fire Department Fireboat No. 2. vessel, powered by twin Detroit Diesel 1271 engines, with three Detroit Diesel 1271 engines that power up to five pumps, and two Detroit Diesel 371 engines that act as generators. Today we were so proud to surprise Dino with his very own beautifully handmade custom leather shield by - He was besotted with the SFFD fireboat one he saw a few months back, so we knew we needed to make sure he had is own to wear as a badge of honor. It was orders long before we were surprised with a leak that left a serious mark on Dino, so it was lucky to have it arrive just when we needed a little happy.
Guardian is so lucky to have him.

The 62nd Annual Blessing of the Fleet is one of our favorite parts of Opening Day on the Bay. This year did not disappoint. The minister, priest, and rabbi aboard M/Y Aurora V (there’s a joke in there somewhere) offered blessings for a safe and healthy boating season, tying together the traditional bond between Mariners and Faith.

Guardian’s Second Annual Founders’ Friends and Family Day on Opening Day on the Bay was a great success! We had such a wonderful groups of folks on board, including our incredible crew!
