People often see the finished quilt, but they don’t always see everything that happens before the sewing begins. 💙
Today is one of those planning days—sorting shirts, taking inventory, designing layouts, and making sure every piece has a place.
Each quilt tells a different story, and I love the process of figuring out how to turn a pile of shirts into something meaningful that can be enjoyed for years to come. 🧵

It’s Summer! The perfect time for gathering up t-shirts and memory items and finally turning them into a quilt.
If you’ve been saving:
🎓 Graduation shirts
⚾ Sports shirts
🎭 Theater shirts
❤️ Clothing from a loved one
🎵 Concert shirts
I’d love to help you preserve those memories.
I currently have openings on my schedule and am booking quilts for summer and fall.
Send me a message and let’s talk about your project!

This quilt was such a special one to create 💛🧵
It was made for a grandchild using shirts connected to a family history of New York police officers and firefighters — so every block holds memories, stories, and pieces of a life spent serving others ❤️💙
To make the quilt feel a little softer and brighter for a baby, we added custom sashing between all of the blocks using fabric the customer carefully selected herself. I also created a custom monogram block using that same fabric for an extra personal touch ✨
I love projects like this that allow me to step outside of a standard layout and create something truly unique and meaningful for a family.
This one was definitely filled with extra details, extra planning, and a whole lot of heart 🗽💙❤️
Hey graduate! If you have photos of you with your quilt I’d love to post them! Send them to me 📸

So excited to share this baby quilt 👶🏻🍼🧵 I don’t do them often, but this was so fun! Thanks to Melissa A Hare for helping me with the fabric selection 💕 🐯🦁🐨 I know Anna Higgins and baby Jett will love it!

Every shirt tells part of a story… and this one was full of standing ovations, backstage memories, and years spent under stage lights 🎭💛
I loved creating this graduation quilt and matching pillow shams from a collection of theater shirts that represent such a meaningful season of life.
What a special way to preserve the performances, friendships, and memories that helped shape this senior’s story 🧵.

Well friends, this is what a quilt map looks like- at least for me. This one is a little different than my usual quilts- stay tuned to see how this one turns out ❤️

The most common thing I hear is:
“I don’t know what to do with these shirts, but I can’t get rid of them.”
That’s exactly why I make these quilts💕

Something a little different 💕 a sweet little baby quilt. While t shirt quilts are my sweet spot, I find it fun to do something different every once in a while 👶🏻

Each T-shirt tells a story — from concerts to sports teams to college or High School memories. I love helping preserve them in a cozy quilt!
