The scoreboard didn’t go our way against Kent State Tuscarawas, but the boys competed, battled, and learned a lot about themselves. Games like this show us where we need to improve and just how bright their futures are.

This weekend, the 16U Akron Angels will take the field against a Division III college baseball team.
For me, this is about much more than a scrimmage. It’s about watching these young men challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zone, and see where their hard work can take them.
I couldn’t be more proud to be their coach.
Every practice, every game, every early morning and every tough day is another opportunity to get better. These players continue to put in the work because they understand that their dreams don’t happen by accident. They are earned.
This weekend will be a great test. The competition will be older, stronger, and experienced—but our guys will show up ready to compete, learn, and get better.
Win or lose, the goal remains the same: keep improving, keep believing, and keep chasing the dream.
