Akron Promise
Akron Promise stitches together educational resources aimed at assisting students and families. Shaping a community involved culture of education in Akron.
Akron Promise stitches together existing education support programs and will work to identify any gaps and fill them. Using that support network, federal, state, and private funding, the Akron Promise will, for students living in Akron, provide support for a quality education. For those graduating from high school in Akron, it will provide scholarship money toward required post-secondary education

In honor of Women’s History Month, here is a fun fact: Case CLC is named in honor of Anne T. Case (1880-1966), the first woman president of the Akron Board of Education. She became a member of the Akron Board of Education in 1934 and served for 24 years. Can you name other Akron Public Schools named in honor a woman?

Our Akron Promise founders attended the State of the Schools address this past Tuesday. Akron Public Schools may have their challenges, as does any suburban school district, but WOWWWW the successes are AMAZING!
