"Having an analog and truly latency free amp simulator is awesome. Being in stereo, even better. I can treat both sides differently just as I would in micing an amp…like either with a dynamic and a ribbon up close, or a close mic and a room mic, or any other way that might be fun. With a real amp, I’ll often have the close mic, and either place a room mic, or just open up a random room mic already set up in my studio () 10 feet away, 20, whatever it is, and usually have them stereo panned in some way.

"In my trials, I emulated that and used one channel as a close mic, and ran the other to effects to offset time and added some room ambience, and the result was just like doing it in the real world. The pedal inherently sounds great, like a really well placed close mic on a super clean amp, so you feed whatever you effect pedals into to get what textures you want, just as you would any other real amp. And having EQ control you can really dial it in. It even has a built in ground lift!" — Pierre de Reeder ()
