I took a quick weekend trip in July to visit my friend, Rena, and her husband, Charlie. It happened to be the weekend before the anniversary of my cancer surgery. It was nice to get away, and it ended up being Family Day for the Tampa Rays so there was a lot going on at the stadium. It’s so crazy to think that I met Rena 11 years ago at the then Aeros’ Stadium and how that chance meeting has grown into a lasting friendship.

I finished chemotherapy on Friday and got to ring the bell! (Video to come later) Today’s the day I start radiation!
