NAMI Summit County staff and Board Member Naomi House attended a celebration event recognizing 25 years of OHIO CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) featuring individuals from Summit County who were part of the early pioneering days such as Maggie Carrol Smith, Fred Frese and Dr Munetz. It was great connecting with many colleagues including Lt Helmeier and Chief Klue

This November, the passing of Summit County ADM Board levy ISSUE #1 is crucial to maintain and improve services for mental health, su***de prevention, addiction treatment & recovery support across Summit County.

Gathered for Good this morning among many colleagues to support Victims Assistance and their wonderful programs that empower people impacted by trauma, turning their hardship into healing.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group. This means the group is led by a volunteer with a history of successfully managing their own mental health condition.

This group would not make the positive impact it does without those volunteers.💙
