We’re gearing up for one of the BEST days of the school year - Akron Hope’s Annual Field Day at Mason CLC on Friday, May 22! 🏃‍♂️☀️

We’re looking for amazing volunteers to help run games, lead activities, and most importantly… have FUN with our students! From relay races to creative challenges, your energy will make this day unforgettable.

💙 No special skills required. Just a willingness to show up, encourage kids, and enjoy the day!

📕 Did you know a huge part of our year-round programming is our tutoring program with Mason CLC? Between the Fall and Spring semesters, we tutor OVER 175 3rd and 4th grade students in reading and math.

🏅 2024-25 Impact:
In Fall 2024, 13% of 3rd grade students were reading on, or above grade, but because of our tutoring program, by Spring 2025, that statistic ROSE to 43% of 3rd graders!

💫 The mission of Akron Hope is to continually support students and families, and helping them achieve scholastic success is just one piece of it. THANK YOU to our volunteer tutors who show up for these students every week, offering 1:1 support.

We recognize that there can be so many barriers that keep you and your family from accessing groceries regularly. We want to eliminate the middle-man (transportation, cost, time, etc) and make it easy with our drive up options. Grab em on the way to/from picking up the kiddos from school!
