The Copley Heritage Days collaborative mural is a wrap! Thanks to everyone for joining us this summer and lending your creative spark to this special celebration of Copley Township 🎉
More than 100 people made their mark on this collaborative mural, which was designed and completed by ART x LOVE, who worked to preserve everyone’s marks. Check it out the finished work of art at Copley Township Hall!

We created the KENMORE collaborative mural for their Better Block celebration 9 years ago this week. We heard leaders say they were afraid of investing in public art because they didn’t want it to be vandalized. These modular murals gave everyone an out. They were free, temporary, and we pledged to maintain them at no cost for 3-5 years. This mural has had a media value of $300,000 to the community, and is one of more than 125 we produced as part of our 2017-2018 Akron project with support from a Knight Cities grant. As we look to 2027, we hope you’ll seek out and celebrate these public art investments and others. If you have a story to share or if they have inspired you, please let us know.

After Byron Dylan Delpinal and Mac Love joined the program to talk about Akron Pulse, we spent the afternoon setting up our DBA and making some minor refinements to the website. It took 9 years to make this project a reality, which goes to show great ideas are always great - sometimes they just need the right partner to become a reality. Happy to support Stewart's Caring Place and recognize Bikers For B***s tonight at the Butterfly Gala. Thanks to their support, amazing services, and team - people diagnosed with cancer do not have to face their healing journey alone. Tonight was a great showing and reminder of how this disease touches all of our lives, and how we in turn can support and touch others lives to make a positive difference.
