So I started posting videos to YouTube...No not my old poor quality (but hilarious sketches) New videos, under the Calvisions banner. This isn't a post to tell everyone to like and subscribe (but you should) but to talk about how possibilities can come from the content you create.
So last year I filmed a MasterClass in our studio and we used an infinite black backdrop, and I thought before taking it down. "Hmm, let me film a real quick video on how to achieve this look" and today it's got 55k views.
But wait there's more!!!
Just recently a company reached out called Dehancer and mentioned that they saw my video and asked if I could do a video reviewing their product if they gave me access. This was the first time this happened, making me feel like the time I put into the video paid off.
What I'm trying to say is, that when you make video content you may not get any results right away, it could take 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or longer. The idea is to keep at it, and the more lines you throw in the water, the more likely you'll get a catch (fishing metaphor). So if you're making videos, keep at it!
