If your condenser is mounted on standoff brackets, adding rubber vibration pads between the unit and the brackets can help reduce vibration noise coming into the house. Yard Flooding on a New Construction Home, Check This!

During construction builders are required to put in a filter basket in the storm sewer, so we don’t contaminate the system. That filter has to remain in place until the new sod has taken root, and sometimes they forget to come back and remove it. If you’re experiencing flooding, let your builder know, so they can come back to see if the filter basket needs to be removed. It makes a world of difference.

What are Edge Vents and How do They Work

If you’re home doesn’t have an eave with a soffit to allow fresh air to come up into your attic. A roofer can install what is called an edge vent. These vents are installed just above your gutter line to allow fresh air into the attic, and push the hot air up and out a ridge or dome vent.
