Girls in Aviation Day gave students a hands-on look at aviation and aerospace careers Hundreds gathered for Girls in Aviation Day with aircraft tours, hands-on activities, and chances to meet leaders in aviation and aerospace.

Our growing maintenance program has already made sweeping accomplishments with more alumni heading into the field every year.

Our students are chasing their aviation dreams—and helping other young women see that they can, too! ✈️💖

Today, Rising Aviation High School students joined Girls in Aviation Day 2026 at Dallas Executive Airport, sharing their experiences, answering questions, and encouraging girls to explore a future in aviation.

They even got interviewed by NBC News and will be on the air! 📺

Seeing our students confidently represent their school and inspire others makes us incredibly proud. Experiences like these help them build communication skills, make connections, and prepare for the careers and opportunities ahead.

Thank you to Women in Aviation, Intl - North Texas Chapter for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful day. We were proud to be part of it!

Mr. Duran, our Learning Lab Instructor is a pilot and received his commercial certificate and tailwheel endorsement over the summer. It’s beneficial having so many of our staff as pilots!

With the hybrid model our students are only required to be on campus 2 days per week. The scheduling flexibility allowed one of our students, Leo, to go plane spotting for Air Force One. Here are some of the photos he captured.

If you’ve had your eye on RAHS, tomorrow 10/3 is a great way to connect with our staff and learn about our school. Join us at this FREE event!
