🎉 We’re excited to share that Inner County Outreach was featured on Good Morning Maryland to help spread the word about our upcoming 40th Anniversary Family Day Celebration!

For 40 years, ICO has been committed to strengthening families, supporting our neighbors, and building a stronger community.

Thank you to Good Morning Maryland for helping us share our mission and this special occasion with the community.

Our After-School Program youth spent the afternoon enjoying a paint fight and water balloon battle, creating memories they'll be talking about long after the paint washes off!

Moments like these remind us that youth development isn't just about academics, it's also about building friendships, confidence, creativity, and joy.

Members of our ICO team recently had the opportunity to visit Milton Hershey School and learn more about its incredible mission of providing life-changing educational opportunities and support for children and families.

We are grateful to the MHS team for their warm welcome, hospitality, and the opportunity to connect. It was inspiring to learn more about the impact of their work and explore ways our organizations can continue building a meaningful partnership.

At Inner County Outreach, we know that strong communities are built through collaboration, and we look forward to future opportunities to work together in support of children, youth, and families.

Hear How One Family’s Story Shows the Life-Saving Impact of Blood Donations!

Join Inner County Outreach and the American Red Cross this Saturday, May 30, from 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the Boys & Girls Club in Aberdeen, MD for our Community Blood Drive.

This drive highlights the critical need for blood donations for patients living with Sickle Cell Disease, which affects more than 100,000 Americans. Blood donations from Black and multiracial donors are especially important, and donors will receive a free sickle cell trait screening.

As a thank you, all donors will receive:

A $20 Amazon e-Gift Card
A Red Cross beach towel

Power Red donors (types O-, O+, A-, or B-) can make an even greater impact by choosing a Power Red donation.

Thank you for helping support local patients and families in need.

For 40 years, ICO has remained committed to strengthening families and communities, and our VITA program continues to make a meaningful impact.

This year, through free tax preparation services, ICO helped return more than $775,000 back into our community, helping local families keep more of what they earned and access valuable tax credits.

Every return represents support, stability, and opportunity for families throughout our community. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and supporters who help make this work possible!

Giving blood saves lives every single day, and for individuals living with sickle cell disease, access to closely matched blood donations can be critical. Because compatible blood matches are often more likely to come from donors of similar racial and ethnic backgrounds, Black blood donors are especially needed to help support patients receiving ongoing transfusions.

Join Inner County Outreach, the Boys & Girls Club of Harford & Cecil County Aberdeen Club, and the American Red Cross for our upcoming Blood Drive on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 8:00 AM–1:30 PM. ❤️

One donation can make a life-changing difference for someone in our community.

Inner County Outreach’s Fresh Start Furnishings program had a busy week connecting with the community! 💜

From sharing resources and meeting families at community events to building new partnerships that support our mission, we’re grateful for every opportunity to spread awareness about how Fresh Start Furnishings helps transform empty houses into homes for individuals and families in need.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, and continues to support our work throughout the community!

Our take on the ‘shake hands with’ trend, also a fun way to break up the day in the office! How’d we do? 🙂
