Today, our Harford PRP participants and staff brought the spirit of the islands to life with a fun-filled Luau Celebration! 🌞🎉

The day was packed with music 🎶, hula hooping 🏝️⭕, limbo challenges 🎋😄, delicious tropical treats 🍍🥥, and plenty of smiles. Of course, no luau would be complete without everyone wearing colorful leis! 🌺💐

We are excited to share some fantastic news—please join us in congratulating Justin Beams on his well-deserved promotion to Facilities Manager, effective August 1, 2026! 🎉

Since joining Key Point in 2024, Justin has truly made his mark. What started as a maintenance technician role quickly grew into so much more. Justin has helped take our facilities operations in a whole new direction—growing his team, strengthening vendor partnerships, and consistently stepping up whenever and wherever needed. His positive attitude and willingness to help never go unnoticed!

Justin shared:
"I am extremely grateful and excited to step up into the role of Facilities Manager here at Key Point. I came to Key Point Health Services over two years ago looking for a maintenance technician job, and what I found was a long-term career and a family. I have been working and searching my whole career for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work, dedication, and skills—and I found a great one. I'm excited to take on more administrative duties to grow and improve the facilities and homes across Key Point, while supporting and strengthening the maintenance department. I'm also excited for the opportunity to work in the office full time, which will allow me more time with my family—and maybe even a little more fishing!" 🎣

His supervisor, Beth Wolkowicz, shared:

Additionally, the 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗣𝗥𝗣 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 today. Staff will continue providing support remotely, including telehealth services and outreach to community-based clients.

Clients who are onsite before noon and have a scheduled clinic appointment will be assisted in accessing their telehealth session. Please note that PRP staff are unable to provide phones for telehealth appointments. Clients participating remotely will need access to a working phone or device to connect with their therapist.

All other Key Point Health Services locations are operating normally and remain open as scheduled.

🍦🎤 Ice cream + karaoke = a perfect summer celebration! 🎤🍦

Our Dundalk PRP recently hosted an Ice Cream Social, and it wouldn't have been complete without some karaoke fun! From sweet treats to great music and lots of laughter, it was a fantastic day of connection and community.

A huge thank you to our Dundalk PRP team and staff who helped make this event such a success. Events like these create opportunities for clients to build relationships, have fun, and make lasting memories.

Kamp Key Point Teen Camp Week 3 Recap

Week 3 was all about connection, confidence, and creating unforgettable summer memories.

Our teen campers enjoyed some of this summer's most anticipated activities, including a trip to Main Event, where they spent the day bowling, competing in laser tag, playing arcade games, and simply enjoying time together.

We also spent time at the pool, and one of the most rewarding things to witness was seeing campers connect with both familiar friends and new faces. Watching teens step outside their comfort zones, build relationships, and gain confidence is exactly what Kamp Key Point is all about.

One memorable moment came during our final celebration. While most campers were enjoying the pool, one teen chose to stay back and help staff cook hot dogs for everyone. It was a simple act, but one that demonstrated responsibility, confidence, and the sense of community we've worked to build all summer long.

Another special touch from the week was our first-day photos. Each camper who attended had their photo taken in front of the Jeep and shared with their parent or guardian, creating a keepsake moment and helping families feel connected to their child's camp experience.

As we reflect on another successful week, we're reminded that Kamp Key Point is about much more than activities. It's about helping young people build confidence, develop friendships, and create positive memories that last long after summer ends.

Kamp Key Point Week 2 Recap

Another incredible week is in the books at Kamp Key Point!

Our campers continued embracing this year's theme, "Grow Through What You Go Through," through new experiences, friendships, creativity, and plenty of summer fun.

This week included:

Tie-Dye Day, where campers created colorful keepsakes and proudly showed off their Kamp Key Point shirts sponsored by APGFCU

Game Day filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition

Main Event, featuring bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pizza, and memories our campers won't soon forget

Pool Days at Aberdeen Pool and Conowingo Pool, complete with sunshine, swimming, and one of our favorite Kamp Key Point traditions, the cookout!

The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued air quality alerts for much of Maryland as wildfire smoke and elevated ozone levels impact our region. Conditions may be especially challenging for individuals with respiratory conditions, heart disease, older adults, children, and others who may be more sensitive to poor air quality.

For our behavioral health clients and community members, please take extra care today and over the next several days:

✅ Keep windows and doors closed if possible
✅ Use air conditioning or air filtration if available
✅ Avoid strenuous outdoor activities
✅ Stay hydrated and check in with family, friends, and neighbors who may be vulnerable
