🌱 Empowering Youth Through Sports & Agribusiness! ⚽🌾

ICODI has Village Sports Entrepreneurs Groups in Nakivale Refugee Settlement and host communities, each made up of young sports coaches, youth with lived experience of mental illness, and both refugee & host community youth.

These groups are being supported to start agricultural and farming income-generating projects, where 50% of all profits go back to strengthening community sports activities.

Through a Trainer of Trainers (T.O.T) model, members are gaining skills to train others and are expected to reach over 720 adolescents and youth every year with practical farming skills, sports leadership, and life-changing knowledge.

Together, we’re promoting SDGs 1, 3, 4, 5, 13 & 16, building healthier, empowered, and sustainable communities. πŸ’ͺ🌍

🌍⚽ Uniting Communities Through Football! ⚽🌍

In our ongoing project, we are using the power of football to bring together people from different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Every match becomes more than a game it’s a shared space where teamwork replaces tension, friendship grows across borders, and peace is built one pass at a time.

From mixed community teams to open dialogue sessions after matches, football is helping us strengthen understanding, respect, and cooperation among refugees and host communities.

Together, we’re proving that when we play as one team, we can build a stronger, more peaceful community for everyone. πŸ’›πŸ€πŸŒŸ
