With digital transformation now a business necessity, The Insurance Training College in partnership with Imatic Technologies Limited has hosted CEOs to a Breakfast Masterclass focused on driving innovation, operational efficiency, and measurable business growth.

Delivering the masterclass, Mr. Tanveer Dawood Karbelkar, CEO of Imatic Technologies Limited, shared insights on how organizations can successfully navigate digital transformation through the PPT Framework: People, Processes, and Technology. He noted that transformation starts with people understanding why systems exist, and then technology helps them execute work faster and more efficiently.

The session also explored the Performance Pyramid Framework, focusing on operational digitization, transformational processes, decision intelligence, and measurable business outcomes. CEOs were encouraged to take an active role in driving digital transformation by defining clear goals, encouraging adoption, and monitoring performance indicators through dashboards.

Saul Sseremba, the Principal, emphasized the importance of equipping leaders and organizations with the digital knowledge and skills needed to remain competitive in a tech-driven business landscape, noting that continuous learning and innovation are essential for sustainable growth.

Closing the session, the ITC Deputy Principal Sylvia Kajubi appreciated Imatic Technologies Limited for supporting digital skills development within the industry and encouraged CEOs to continue participating in the CEO Masterclass series.

ADIU Experience: A Journey of Growth and Impact

From personal growth to leadership transformation, Ivan Martin Ssali says the Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ADIU) offered at the Insurance Training College (ITC) equipped him with strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills needed to confidently navigate today’s dynamic insurance industry.

As a member of the programme's first cohort, Ivan highlighted the ADIU’s practical and research-driven approach, noting that it successfully bridged theory and practice while strengthening his professionalism, resilience, and time management skills. He added that the experience prepared him to contribute more strategically to his organisation and industry growth.

The ITC CEO Breakfast Masterclass is happening on 26th May 2026 at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala. A morning dedicated to conversations on digital transformation, executive leadership, and driving measurable business growth.

The session will feature Mr. Tanveer Dawood Karbelkar, CEO of Imatics Technologies Ltd (Tanzania), a respected technology entrepreneur and digital transformation strategist with extensive experience driving business and technology transformation across Africa.
