As a child he was raised by Watoto, and Coach Tony has never forgotten how pastors and coaches saw his potential when he was growing up — guiding him towards success with the love of Jesus. Today, Tony is a coach at Watoto’s Sports Academy who is pouring into the lives of the next generation of our student athletes, helping them discover their talents, and the purpose God has for their lives.

Education is vital to a child’s future, yet many girls in Africa drop out of school simply because they can’t afford sanitary pads. At Watoto, we are working to change this. By providing feminine hygiene products and teaching girls their value in Christ, our Keep a Girl in School initiative is making a way for future doctors, teachers, engineers, and more to walk in the purpose God has for their lives.

As a baby, Aisha was welcomed into Watoto with open arms. From an early age she not only had a love of sports, but also God-given talent to play at a high level. Aisha eventually joined the Watoto Sports Academy where that talent is being nurtured. Today, Aisha is the captain of her team and she is thriving.
