As schools prepare to open their gates, our mission is clear: every child deserves to feel safe.
Let’s empower our learners to freely report if they feel unsafe, and build a culture of trust. 🗣️

For Mental Health Awareness Month, CDFU is shining a light on the power of being heard. In many communities, mental health is a silent struggle, but it doesn’t have to be.
Our Toll-Free Helpline ☎️0800 200 600 serves as an open door for thousands of Ugandans across more than 100 districts. We provide a free, confidential space where anyone, no matter where they are can connect with professional psychosocial support.
Whether it’s the weight of daily stress or a moment of deep crisis, we believe that professional guidance should be a right, not a privilege. Behind every call is a person finding the strength to move forward and a community growing more resilient.
Your wellness is our priority. We are here to listen.

Great healthcare starts with a simple choice🧡
Why does one family use a mosquito net while another doesn’t? Why does one person seek a TB screening while another waits?
At CDFU, we study the “Why.”
We know that providing medicine is only half the battle. The other half is making sure every mother, father, and child feels empowered and informed enough to use it. Our strength is in the final step, the moment a community member decides to take action.
By bringing integrated Malaria and TB services directly into villages like Kiwelele, we remove the barriers of distance and doubt. We turn available care into trusted care.

Gender equality begins at home, in school, and in our hearts.
Behind every balanced community is a family that believes in equal opportunities for all children. This isn’t just about chores; it’s about shifting the narrative that shapes our future. When we teach boys and girls that they have equal rights and responsibilities, we are cultivating a generation of respectful and responsible leaders.
When boys and girls get equal chances, our communities grow stronger. This is what community-centered development looks like.
Let’s share the load and share the future.

To reach every woman and every newborn.👩🍼
We are at for the 2026 Annual Maternal and Child Health Conference! It’s an honor to be in a room filled with so much passion and expertise.
At CDFU, we know that high-quality care starts with empowered communities. We are here to ensure that the voices of mothers from every district are represented in the solutions we create together. Because when a mother is healthy, her whole community thrives🧡

Greetings from Iganga👋🏾
Today in Bulamagi sub-county, we stood alongside partners to say: Zero Malaria Deaths is possible. Behind the statistics are families who deserve to live without the threat of malaria. Whether it’s sleeping under a treated net or seeking early treatment, the power to end this disease is in our hands. 🤝🧡
Now we can. Now we must.

Every girl deserves the chance to dream, learn, and succeed.📚🩺
Look at this illustration. A student today is a leader—perhaps a nurse, a scientist, or an engineer—tomorrow. By supporting girls through primary school and ensuring our schools are safe and free from harassment, we aren’t just educating an individual; we are transforming a nation🧡
This community development in action. Let’s make safe schools a reality for every child.

Ending GBV is essential for school enrollment, retention, transition, and completion.🗣️
These aren’t just debate points—they are the voices of students from Alaba Primary School and Twajiji Primary School in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement.
Behind every argument made on that stage is a young person’s vision for a safer, brighter future. This is the power of student-led advocacy in action. 💙
We believe that when schools are safe, every child can thrive.

The “outside” shouldn’t feel like a different planet🌎
Successful reintegration isn’t just about opening a gate; it’s about opening a door. By engaging with the formerly incarcerated today, we build the neighbors, employees, and mentors of tomorrow.
Let’s make “coming home” mean something.
