This Men’s Mental Health Month, let’s remind every man that taking care of your mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness.

“Big boys cry” and that’s okay.

Strength is not about hiding pain, bottling up emotions, or suffering in silence. Real strength is speaking up, seeking support, and taking care of your mental well-being.

Check in on the men around you. Listen without judgment.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Robert Ninyesiga, the Philanthropy Lead at CivLegacy Foundation, at our community office in Buwenge, Jinja.

He commended our ongoing community development efforts and shared insights on building a sustainable Community Foundation that can create lasting impact.

CivLegacy Foundation has been very supportive and we are currently benefiting from their ongoing Community Foundations’ Incubation Programme. The programme seeks to nurture a generation of community-rooted philanthropic institutions, equipping leaders with the skills, strategies, and networks to mobilize both financial and non-financial resources within and beyond their communities.

We remain committed to learning, growing, and collaborating, and we welcome more partners, supporters, and guests to join us on this journey.

Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga remains a towering pillar in Busoga’s development and progress.

From her entry into Parliament in 1989 to the many national offices she has held, the region has greatly benefited from her leadership.
