Isaya 35:3

1 Yohana 2:15-17

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
[16]Maana kila kilichomo duniani, yaani, tamaa ya mwili, na tamaa ya macho, na kiburi cha uzima, havitokani na Baba, bali vyatokana na dunia.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
[17]Na dunia inapita, pamoja na tamaa zake, bali yeye afanyaye mapenzi ya Mungu adumu hata milele.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Isaya 9:2
[2]Watu wale waliokwenda katika giza
Wameona nuru kuu;
Wale waliokaa katika nchi ya uvuli wa mauti,
Nuru imewaangaza.
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
