Every day, climbers suffer potentially fatal injuries and illnesses while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro Air Rescue evacuates ill or injured climbers to a nearby hospital so they can get prompt medical care. Kilimanjaro Air Rescue’s helicopter pilots are specially trained in mountain rescues and our helicopter is permanently on standby at the base of the mountain, ready to fly to your rescue, even at the summit of Africa’s tallest mountain!
