From calypso and steelpan to traditional mas, moko jumbies, and community parades, the celebrations have consistently highlighted the borough’s deep-rooted contribution to our national identity.

In a historic milestone, 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 25𝐭𝐡, 2025, and will now be observed annually on the first Saturday of May.
