Chinapoo Village Social Welfare Organization (a non profitable organization) is about securing a Socio-economic advancement for the betterment of our Community and Environs. It was Founded in August of 2007 by Mrs Patsy Nathan-Bansfield and it aims to assist single-parents, youths and the elderly, within our Community with Grants and developing Holistic Educational Programmes. We also hold activities for the members of the community (Christmas, Carnival, The prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition, Emancipation, African History Month, Easter & Summer Camps). We took upon our self the task of developing the social and cultural aspect of children within our community via Training in basic manners, socialization in groups, family activities and a sense of self-worth. Over the past years these services have been extended to Other Communities.

Emancipation Youths Achievement Award 2015. Every child deserves a champion an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be. It takes a village to raise a child.
