Sun out, gloves on, let’s clean some coastline! ☀️🌊🧤

Our team swapped the usual Saturday morning plans for gloves, garbage bags and a little teamwork at the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago’s Beach Clean Up at Bay Road, Orange Valley, Couva. ♻️

Gloves on, bags filling up and the team getting straight to work. 🧤♻️ A Saturday morning well spent giving our coastline some much needed TLC. 🌊💙

Big shoutout to everyone who came out and put in the work. Good vibes, great teamwork and a cleaner coastline to show for it. 😎🌊💙

Same time next clean up? 👀🧤

One table, a shared industry and a stronger push to tackle the issues that matter together. 🇹🇹⚡

The Trinidad and Tobago Energy Services Forum, hosted by the Private Sector Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (PSOTT) in collaboration with the Energy Chamber and the University of Trinidad and Tobago, brought energy services companies together to discuss how the sector can strengthen local capability and respond to what’s coming next. 🤝🏽

Javed Razack, VP, People and Corporate Services and Vice Chair of the Energy Services Committee, joined Dr. Priya Marajh, Chair of the Energy Services Committee, and Rudolph Hanamji, CEO of PSOTT, with Javed contributing to the conversation on local content and building greater capacity within Trinidad and Tobago’s energy services sector. 💡🇹🇹

The forum also featured remarks from The Honourable Ernesto Kesar, Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, who spoke about modernising and strengthening the Permanent Local Content Committee to respond to deepwater exploration, advanced technology, the energy transition and emerging regional opportunities.

There are big shifts happening across energy. Bringing industry, government and key organisations under one umbrella gives us a stronger foundation to tackle shared challenges and turn the conversations into action. ⚡🤝🏽

In today’s energy market, opportunity means very little if you can’t execute it. ⚖️⚡

That was at the heart of Ambrosio’s roundtable at VIOGS 2026, where the conversation tackled International Legal Frameworks & Compliance and what companies need to successfully operate, invest and grow in complex energy markets.

Ambrosio, Business Development and Compliance Manager brought the conversation back to a critical reality: compliance is part of the infrastructure of doing business. As Venezuela opens to greater international participation, companies need the governance, transparency and traceability to navigate changing regulations, satisfy international partners and move capital with confidence. 🌎🤝🏽

For businesses looking at Venezuela and the wider region, technical capability may get you into the conversation. Trust, legal certainty and the ability to operate within the right frameworks are what help turn opportunity into business.

Who knew the quickest way from Trinidad to Venezuela was through a parang rhythm? 🇹🇹🎶🇻🇪

Last night’s VIOGS 2026 Opening Cocktails brought both delegations together for an evening that felt instantly familiar. Good music, shared traditions, familiar rhythms and Caribbean energy made culture the real star of the night. 💃🏽🎶

As a sponsor of this year’s summit, we were happy to bring some of that energy to the opening. The night celebrated the cultural connection between our two countries and the relationships that have been built across our shores for generations.

Safe to say, the vibes arrived in Caracas before the conference officially got going. 😎🇻🇪⚡

Day 2 gave us a lot to talk about. 🎤🔥

From Gerard unpacking what AI looks like when it is actually built into the way a business operates, to Shaun joining the conversation on risk, tariffs and resilience, today was all about ideas that are shaping how logistics moves forward.

Add in the conversations between sessions, familiar faces, new connections and one very full conference floor, and Day 2 delivered.

Today, we celebrate a defining chapter in the story of Trinidad and Tobago. 🇹🇹✨

Republic Day marks an important chapter in Trinidad and Tobago’s journey, when our nation embraced a system of government with a President as Head of State and took another step in defining our national identity.

It also reminds us that the story of our country continues to be written every day. Through the ideas we create, the communities we strengthen and the progress we pursue together. ❤️🤍🖤

Today, we honour the journey that brought us here and look ahead to the Trinidad and Tobago we will continue to build.

Happy Republic Day, Trinidad and Tobago! 🇹🇹✨

AI stops being impressive the moment it stays theoretical. 🤖

On the Breakbulk Voices Stage, Gerard Rique, Manager of Innovations & Solutions at Ramps Logistics, brought the conversation back to what matters: what AI looks like when it is already embedded into the way a logistics business actually operates.

In “AI From the Inside Out: Built on logistics, powered by AI,” Gerard unpacked how Ramps is using AI across sales, decision making, sustainability, customer experience, 5 star service and the tools we have built and put to work inside the business.

For an AI native organisation, the value shows up in the everyday decisions: how teams work, how quickly they respond, how customers are served and how the business continues to improve. That is where AI becomes operational, measurable and useful. ⚡
