First modifications were made to the bridge and the superstructure.
3-inch rear open guns were constructed. (Veryfire resin and metal products were used)
Mk.28 fire control radar was installed on the Mk.37 fire control system.
5-inch main guns were constructed and modified.
Construction of the funnels was completed

TCG Gelibolu D 346 (1949-1976) 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Dragon 1/350 Scale USS Buchanan (Gleaves class). This ship was transferred to us in 1949 and served under the name TCG Gelibolu until 1976. She's third of our four G-class destroyers.
May God rest his soul—my father completed an internship on this ship in 1964 before graduating from the Istanbul Beylerbeyi Petty Officer preparatory school. That’s why it holds a special place in my heart.
It might look like it can be built straight out of the box, but personally, I don’t think that’s quite right. (Of course, anyone who wants to can build it that way.) Some revisions are needed on the bridge, the superstructure, and the hull. Since I’ll be completing it with a triple-mast configuration, the radars and main mast will need to be changed. It’ll be a long but enjoyable process.

Abdülhamid (Nordenfelt II), September 6, 1886. Beginning of Turkish Submarine Operations.🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷⚓💪
In the summer of 1888, this submarine became the world’s first to sink a target by firing a torpedo from underwater off the coast of Dolmabahçe Palace.
Together with sister submarine Abdülmecid (Nordenfelt III) she's successfully fired torpedoes at designated targets.
