On 13th June 2026, SPE Timor-Leste Section was thrilled to collaborate with the Spe Timor-Leste Chapter in conducting an insightful social outreach program at Escola São Carlos, Manleuana, Dili.

The session continued our commitment to inspiring the next generation by introducing the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and sharing fundamental knowledge of Geology and Petroleum Engineering with senior high school students.

It was a truly rewarding experience as we received a warm welcome from both teachers and students. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm throughout the session, actively engaging in discussions, absorbing the lessons, and raising thoughtful and critical questions. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn made the outreach even more meaningful.

To conclude the program, we were delighted to donate five Energy4me books to the school, supporting students' continued learning and exploration of science and energy-related topics.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Escola São Carlos for hosting us and for the wonderful hospitality. We look forward to reaching and inspiring many more schools across Timor-Leste in the future.

A special thank you and congratulations to all SPE Timor-Leste Section and Student Chapter officers who remain committed to giving back to our community through education, outreach, and knowledge sharing. Your dedication continues to make a positive impact on the future generation of Timor-Leste.
