She-Star team with participants and volunteers held our final event.
From this event, participants from Dili, Maliana and Maubisse bring their products that they have been making during their learning, practicing showcasing the products on the event.

In this Event all of the participants feel motivated and happy with the presence of our special guest His Excellency Kayrala Xanana Gusmão (First President of Timor-Leste).
“Avo Nana” give a short speech to the participants, motivate and encouraging them especially for young women to continue learning, practicing and work hard to achieve their goals.

Besides that, Yuni Godinho as a Young Businesswoman run her own coffee shop in Town Skyra Coffee shop to sustain her family and contribute for development of Sustainable economy in this country. Her presence in this event to encourage participants and students to be brave in taking decision and out of their comfort zone especially for Young Women.
Anastacio Madeira as a Co-Director of Tourism Agency, Timor Unearthed share his experiences about Tourism activity in Timor-Leste and he is encouraging Youth to promote Tourism activity in Timor-Leste.

The Dili’s team special product is in Culinary. The team has been working hard with their mentor to bring local products to the ready markets, both nationally and internationally. They are learning about hospitality, and many more activities in English!

Who are we? 🤔And what we are doing?💡
She-Star Team based in Dili, Timor-Leste. Timor-Leste is one of the youngest Countries in Asia. The majority populations are aged 25 or younger. 19% of Timorese girls are married by the time they reach 18 years old. In this patriarchal society, young mothers often end-up with few skills and economically very dependent on their husband or the people surrounding them. This contributes to young women and girls that more vulnerable to poverty, violence, and isolation.
We are here to help them!
