It was my birthday last Sunday, and while writing my gratitude list, islanatural was one of the first things that came to mind.

Not because it’s perfect. Not because it’s easy. But because it’s given me opportunities, challenges, friendships, lessons, and a sense of purpose I never could have imagined when I first started.

Some days I’m so focused on where I’m trying to go that I forget to appreciate how far “we’ve” come.

It’s chaotic, emotional, overwhelming, rewarding - sometimes all in the same day.

But somehow, despite all of it, you wake up every morning grateful you get to build something that’s yours 🤍

I think when you’re building something every single day, it’s easy to become blind to how far you’ve actually come. The goalposts keep moving, the standards keep getting higher, and most days you’re already focused on the next thing before you’ve even stopped to appreciate the current moment.

But sometimes, seeing islanatural through someone else’s lens is a reminder of how special this journey really is. Watching something that started so small become a real brand, a real community, real products made by hand, real connections, real moments.

And honestly, that perspective means everything 🤍
