Layers of time: vintage ceiling above, bold pantry below, and the court that breathes between them.

124 Residence begins to glow a soft radiance weaving through branches and shadows. As the outside world deepens into dusk, the residence breathes light into time and space, creating moments suspended between day and night.

Our design for 124 Residence is now featured on Gap Thanavate’s YouTube channel. Grateful for the way they captured and conveyed the idea and essence of the house with such beauty and serenity.

128 Residence

Right in the middle of busy Bangkok, there’s a peaceful green space where the trees were here long before the house.

More than 90% of the trees were kept, and the house was carefully designed to fit around them, like it’s weaving through a small forest.

The shape of the house creates a natural wind tunnel, letting fresh air flow through every room without needing to turn on the air conditioner.

A big gable roof helps protect the house from the sun and tropical rain, keeping it cool and calm inside.

Many parts of the old house, like stones, wooden floors, doors, and windows were brought into this new home. Not just to save costs, but to carry memories and a sense of belonging for the family.

Elements of 124Residence. Peaceful and memorable.

Reflection :

124 Residence is a quiet mirror of its surroundings—embracing the trees that have long stood, the neighboring rhythms, the play of sunlight, and the passing wind. It pays homage to the memory of the home that once stood before, preserving its soul through reclaimed wooden doors and windows now reimagined as delicate façades. To walk through this house is to wander through layers of time, where past and present entwine. It becomes not just a dwelling, but a reflection of identity—gently revealed in the eyes of its owner.

Tropical forest house. A quiet retreat in the city, this house hides within a forest the owner has grown. Trees surround the home, silencing the urban rush. Light filters through leaves, casting calm shadows. It’s a secret woodland oasis in the heart of the metropolis.
