New travel measures to enter into India from 13 Feb 23 onwards, this changed impacts to travelers from Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore & South Korean.

สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน ขอแจ้งมาตรการเดินทางเข้าอินเดีย ประกาศ ณ วันที่ 9 ก.พ. 2566 (มีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 13 ก.พ. 2566 เวลา 11.00 น. เวลาอินเดีย) ดังนี้

สำหรับผู้โดยสารที่เดินทางเข้าอินเดียจากประเทศไทย จีน ฮ่องกง ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ และสิงคโปร์

1. ยกเลิกการตรวจโรคโควิด-19 ด้วยวิธี RT-PCR ก่อนเดินทางเข้าประเทศอินเดีย

2. ยกเลิกการอัพโหลดผลตรวจโรคโควิด-19 และกรอกแบบฟอร์ม Air Suvidha ก่อนเดินทางเข้าประเทศอินเดีย

3. ผู้โดยสารเดินทางเข้าอินเดียจำนวน 2% ของเครื่องบินทั้งลำ จะถูกสุ่มตรวจโรคโควิด-19 เมื่อเดินทางถึงสนามบินที่อินเดีย

Latest update on entering into Thailand as of 10 Jan 23.

All travelers to Thailand are now required for at least 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccination proof and recommended to purchase insurance covering Covid-19 treatment.

Proof of vaccination or ATK test results will be no longer required for international travelers to Thailand from 1 Oct 22.

Just to update on visa on arrival to Thailand will be extended from 30 days to 45 days of stay permitted, from 1 Oct 22.

Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) approved the proposal by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to extend the period of stay to 45 days for tourists from countries/territories entitled for visa exemption, and to 30 days for those eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA). This will be in effect from 1 October, 2022, until 31 March, 2023.

According to an announcement by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), passengers traveling to Thailand must wear a mask while on the plane, starting from 1 July 2022.
And entry measures for Thai and foreign nationals, as of 1 July, are as follows:
- Thailand Pass not required;
- Upon arrival, please present certificate of vaccination or RT-PCR / Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure;
- Medical insurance not required.

📢 Entry Measures into Thailand (effective from 1 June 2022 onwards)

🔶 Thai nationals

- Thailand Pass not required
- Enter Thailand without quarantine nor COVID-19 test upon arrival
- Must present a certificate of vaccination or if unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated, an RT-PCR / Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure
- Can enter Thailand via every border checkpoint (for land travel)

🔶 Foreign nationals

- Register on Thailand Pass
- Attach documents, as follows:
- Passport
- Certificate of vaccination or if unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated, RT-PCR / Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure
- Proof of Medical Treatments Coverage (minimum coverage 10,000 USD)
- Receive Thailand Pass QR Code within 1-2 hours
- Airlines and Disease Control Officers will check your documents
