"This matters far beyond any one cycle, because the impact of rural voters in our democracy continues to grow. Demographers at the University of Virginia’s Cooper Center project that by 2040, roughly 70 percent of Americans will live in just 15 states. The other 30 percent, spread across 35 disproportionately rural states, will hold outsized power over the country’s future, especially in the Senate, where Wyoming and California each get two votes. Ignoring those voters is not just bad politics. It is bad math."
The Harris-Walz Rural Team Could Have Written The DNC Autopsy Report On Day One In 2012, President Obama lost the rural vote by 19 points.
"The strongest people you will ever meet are rural Democrats. Progressives in small towns across the country. The people not trying to fit in, but stand out. "

Remembering those people that paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.
Memorial Day is a chance for us to pause as a community and recognize the extraordinary individuals whose bravery and commitment shaped the freedoms and rights we treasure today.
Honoring them is about choosing, every day, to stand up for the same values they believed were worth the ultimate sacrifice: fairness, justice, and dignity for all.
