GAIS has developed Innovative approach which fits in local context to maximize the benefit of farmers to enable food security
1- Farmers need assessment - To understand what crops they grow and how they manage them.
2- Seeds Production through farmers group - To produce climatically suitable improved seeds as per farmers needs.
3- Seeds on credit - To enhance the affordability of farming community.
4- Small Pack methods - To provide first hand opportunity to farmers to experience improved seeds.
5- Improved farming system - Farmers are taught about improved agronomic practices of most important crops to increase the productivity.
6- Self sustainable extension service- To disseminate important information to farmers through village based extension agent.
7- Market linkages for farmers- To create market linkages to realize the better price of farmers produce.

Become an agent of change for South Sudanese Farmer’s, promoting and developing agricultural inputs such as seeds, compost, bio-fertilizers; while educating and sharing best practices with the farming community, to increase crop yields, reduce post-harvest losses, and strengthen food security..
Currently we are working with 620 seeds producer (in a group of 10 members each). We have trained 1500 farmers in improved seeds productions, established 10 Agro-inputs shops. We have reached directly or indirectly to 23,500 farmers.
