Brigadier Gen. Atak Anei passed away in Juba.

One of the Korok community members, Brigadier Gen. Atak Anei passed away at Promise Hospital in Juba after he suffered from kidney failure. The late Brigadier Gen. Atak Anei famously known as, Machar Anei, was one of the greatest freedom fighters and liberation in the Republic of South Sudan.

The late Brigadier Gen. Atai Anei hailed in Makuach Deng Ayom the area in Korok community, Aweil North county.

Prayers and our thoughts are for the family, friends, colleagues, the Korok community and South Sudan at large.

Yesterday in the evening, Mr. Mawien Athian Duok, from Korok community, tragically lost his beloved wife, Ayak Majang Ngor at Real Day Care hospital in Juba.

Man Allegedly beats wife over playing song against alcohol consumption.

A man from Nyamanan in Meluth county had allegedly brutally beaten his wife after she played the song discouraging the alcohol consumption.

According to the source of the victim, the incident occurred after the woman played the song by the Legendary artist Machol Amuor The song contains Lyrics in Dinka: "Wet mou, wet Mou" which translates to "taking alcohol is bad.

The first incident involved a roads incident in which Anok Mawien Jal wife of Simon Gar died after the vehicle overturned while traveling from Aweil to Panthou.

In a separate incident the same day, Jal Mawien Jal identified as stepbrother to late Anok Mawien Jal died, by su***de.

The two deaths left the family mounting the loss of two relatives on the same day,

The family are appealed for prayers and support as they mount their loved ones to navigate the difficult time.
