Community Peace Initiative Organization (CPI) as a partner, is participating in the July 12 bonus fundraising campaign which match a project with 50% donors for a donation of $750-1,000$ and 40% match for $500-749$ and 30% match for $100-499$.

CPI in partnership with UNMISS Civil Affairs Division and Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) has on Monday 31st of October 2022, launched in Pachong of Rumbek East County. The Peace campaign that engage communities, intellectual and state leadership will go throughout four days.

The Never Ever again to violent peace campaign will engage peace mobilizers and community members to deliver messages of peace and important of not going back to violent in four Payams of Pachong, Mathiang, Malek-agok and Cuei-cok of Rumbek East County respectively.

Updates:

On the 26th - 27th July, 2021, Community Peace Initiative Organization conducted a successful two days workshop for Community health workers working at Primary Health centers and Units on .

The training workshop brought together 16 participants from 5 PHCC and PHCU respectively. The workshop was facilitated by Incident Manager in the State Ministry of health and World Health Organization (WHO) representative and was opened officially by Director General (D/G) in the Ministry of health.

CPIO-SSD is looking for competent and committed young people to apply for CMVs positions. For more information regarding this call, find the attached CFV.

Volunteered in fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Making awareness and sensitization on COVID-19 pandemic o the identify areas. Work as part of the Organization team.

Call for female volunteer with CPIO-SOUTH SUDAN.

Community Peace Initiative Organization is looking for a competent female volunteer that will take part in its fight against COVID-19.

Roles and responsibilities:
1. Volunteered to do awareness on COVID-19 on behalf of CPIO.
2. Work as part of the team.
3. Do any other assignments assigned to her.

Requirements:
1. Must be a South Sudanese.
2.Must have at least finished senior four school certificate.
3. Any other skills like computer will be an added advantage.

CPIO team today makes Community awareness and sensitization on COVID-19 pandemic on:
1. Meaning of corona virus (COVID-19)
2. Sign and symptoms of COVID-19
3. Prevention and precautions measures laid by WHO and MoH
4. Roles of women in regards to prevention and precautions of COVID-19 through;
*Home hygiene
*Children and visitors.

The awareness was very good and educative.

: Community awareness and sensitization in Akot Payam.

We have started our Initiative today by making awareness and distributing face masks and soaps to local chiefs and some Community members in Akot Payam.

Thanks to UNMISS Civil Affairs Division (CAD) in person of for providing us mobility.

It was so amazing and colourful though the face masks and soaps were not enough to the participants.
