The Conference meant to extend the EPSA by the Ministry of Petroleum and operating Partners, and the Addendum was signed for another 2 years. The Addendum was signed between the Ministry of Petroleum and operating Partners, to increase the Oil production and Oil sustainable development in the Republic of South Sudan.

Kenya will begin bidding for 10 oil exploration blocks this month, marking its first licensing round in six years.

The offered blocks are located within the Anza and Lamu basins and were selected based on geoscientific data.

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline from Uganda 🇺🇬 to Tanzania 🇹🇿, stretching 1,443 kilometers is now 64.5% complete.

It is set to become the world’s longest heated crude oil pipeline.

Construction began in 2023, and oil exports are expected to start in 2027.

The project is also expected to increase foreign investment in Uganda and Tanzania by over 60% during construction.
