Somali society of geological survey-SSGS is a huge organization based in Somalia. As they use GIS technologies to create and develop spatial datasets in many fields, they will be joining us this sunday day to discuss how they harness the power of GIS on thier chosen fields.

Today, we have concluded the celebration of GISDay, an event that are celebrated all over the world.

We addressed and presented the missing GIS technology in Somalia's development plans, as well as gave information on how GIS will transform and influence Somalia's future sustainable development goals.

Thanks to their participation of this special event, Somali Society of Geological Survey- SSGS and , presented how thier respective fields transformed and leveraged through geospatial technologies, organized by Lava Geospatial.
