Big milestone for our work with women and girls in Somalia and Somaliland!
The final evaluation of our project "We Have Rights: Protecting IDP and Minority Women and Girls from SGBV in Southwest Somalia and Somaliland," supported by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, is now published in the UN Trust Fund Evaluation Library.
It highlights stronger survivor-centred services; 50 women’s rights organisations engaged through two coalitions, community-led protection mechanisms and important shifts in attitudes toward gender-based violence and harmful practices.

We are pleased to see Ethiopia Today feature an article drawing on SIHA Network’s research, “Budgeting for Inequality: The Decline in Gender-Responsive State Spending for Socio-Economic Rights in Ethiopia and Uganda.”
Our research documents how gaps in gender-responsive budgeting continue to erode women's and girls' rights across health, education, and social protection.
