Ladies and gentlemen,
The 19th June 2023, marked a momentous occasion in the history of Adventist Health System Waterloo Hospital. We gathered to celebrate the long-awaited launch and dedication of our new X-ray unit. This is indeed a laudable venture that aims to meet a crucial healthcare need of our patients in Waterloo and the surrounding towns.
We stand with a deep sense of pride and gratitude towards the individuals and organizations who have made this dream a reality. First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our generous donors. Their unwavering support has made it possible for us to acquire state-of-the-art X-ray equipment, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Adventist Health International for their continuous guidance and support throughout this journey. Their expertise and resources have played a significant role in the successful implementation of this project. We are truly fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful network.
I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the tireless efforts of our Hospital Board, Administration, and Staff. Their vision and strategic planning have paved the way for this milestone achievement. Their commitment to our patients and their families has been unwavering, and I am truly grateful for their leadership.
Lastly, I must recognize the pivotal role played by our church leadership. The Adventist Health System Waterloo Hospital stands as a testament to their steadfast commitment to the overall well-being of our community. Their support and guidance have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.
The installation of our new X-ray unit signifies a significant leap forward in our ability to provide comprehensive and advanced healthcare services to our patients. This state-of-the-art equipment will enable our medical professionals to make accurate diagnoses, leading to timely and appropriate treatment plans. It will enhance our ability to detect potential health issues, ultimately saving lives and improving the overall quality of life for our community.

Thank you Jesus Christ for this AHS Family. We pray that you keep us united and safe from all harm. Protect us and provide for us Lord Jesus Christ 🙏 At a send-off party on Sunday June 4th 2023, mixed emotions of testimonies were poured out as the staff bid farewell to the outgoing CEO/Chief Medical Director and Consultant General Surgeon Juana Aaron Kabba for his relentless efforts in leading the hospital through development and excellent service over the past 5 years. He is a father to us all and supported every staff and patient to the best of his abilities. We will miss you sir and pray for you and your family for God's guidance in your future endeavours. 🙏
