She grew up in the ghetto where men,boys,women and girls puffed w**d and ci******es.She had always told herself she would never get into such life even though she found herself into such neighbourhood.Her dream and desire was to be a lawyer.Her name was Mariatu.Mariatu was the second girl child to her parents;she had two little brothers, John and Andrew.Her parents names were Mr. Mohamed and Mrs. Janet.Because of Matiatu's desire of becoming a lawyer,she used to stand in front of the mirror every morning in her room practicing before heading for school.She was one of the school perfects in her school ,and her performance in school was quite good.She attended the St. Joseph Secondary School.

Years passed by and some new tenants found their way into the neighbourhood.They were the Mansaray Family.They had a daughter named Winnie.Winnie was also a student of the St. Joseph Secondary School and was also at the same level with Mariatu.But Winnie unlike Mariatu was more into life , she was an extrovert.She had been used to hanging out with Men and boys in her previous neighbourhood.So when she found herself in her new neighbourhood,she didn't find it strange at all ,in fact she felt at home.Months past and she began hanging out and sitting around with the men,boys,women and girls in the ghetto who puffed w**d and smoked ci******es.And soon she too began puffing the w**d and the ci******es ,but she was more into the w**d than she was into the ci******es.Soon after she forgot the ci******es and focussed on the w**d.

While she was taking the w**d,her performance in school was extremely wonderful.Everyone in the neighbourhood was amazed at her;they admired her brain.That was how the both of them ,Mariatu and Winnie, became friends.Winnie wanted to be a doctor in future.So Mariatu started asking Winnie some questions one day,how did she manage to get the grades she got in class?Winnie explained everything to her ,she told her it was

JOHN AND AMIE IN 1998_A POWERFUL LOVE STORY.

In 998 , John and Amie met together inside a plane and the both of them fell in love.It was a love at first sight.The both of them were heading for America.John had won a DV and this was his first time travelling to America.But for Amie, her parents have been living there for the past five years.John was a cute guy , a very smart and intelligent guy.Unlike Amie who had had a degree,John only spent a year in College where he studied Mass Communication.His communication skill was very powerful which he used to lure Amie into loving him.Amie was really mesmerized and persuaded by his words.John was the kind of guy who believed so much in empowerment and empowering himself.He had read a lot of books which had helped shaped him and his philosophy.

The conversation between them went on,they spoke for hours about a whole lot of things.They spoke about life, education,family and many other things that caught their interests.John was a twin, and his brother had graduated from college plus he had had his own family.John was the only one in the family to have been lucky to have won a DV and travelled to America.That was when he met Amie.Amie too was a brilliant lady , smart in beauty and careful with her words.Amie unlike John had never faced or experienced anything like hardship.So when John shared with her his life experience and about how he got to win the DV, she was amazed.John had taken the only cash he had to play the DV with a faith that God would smile on him, and surely He did.✍️

LOVE THAT EXISTED IN SIERRA LEONE BETWEEN JANE AND JOSEPH WHEN THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY.👇👇👇

It was very dark in the night but the stars and the moon were shining.This was a period when there was no electricity,no technology, no iphone, no tab, no electrical communication at all but just letters which was used as a means of communication.During the evening,boys and girls used to make a round circle about a fire.While the fire was burning, those talented with telling stories told their stories.It was a very beautiful sight sitting there watching and listening as those talented kids told their stories.The moon used to shine bright every night, shining as if it was a replacement of the electricity that was not available at the time.

All this event took place in Freetown in Sierra Leone.Sierra Leone is a small and beautiful country, not so much populated.The country is rich in human and mineral resources.They are blessed with minerals like gold, oil, diamond ,rutile, bauxite and many others.

Since there was no electricity and technological advancement at the time,boys and girls used to perform very well in school.Their brains were sharp and their love for education was second to none so they gave it their all.Education to the kids was taught to be better than silver and gold by the white men who used to come into the country to exploit leaders off their resources.The kids ,both boys and girls, believed that to become a leader in Sierra Leone one really had to study and work hard.

There was a school named Collegiate.It was a West African Methodist School located at Wilkinson Road.The school used to perform very well both in sports and in academics.The teachers in the school taught their students very well, they were dedicated teachers.This was a period when the school was both mixed i.e. boys and girls unlike today when the school has only boys attending it.The school was a secondary school.Jane and Joseph had just got into secondary school and they were both i

SAY NO TO KUSH,SAY NO TO DRUGS,SAY NO TO NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE.

The people suffering from kush are going through a lot.Imagine they have to deal with issues of Self Esteem, Peer Pressure and Society.Many of them do not wish for the life they are living at the moment,it is all as a result of peer pressure from wrong peers.If you watched closely,many of them were coming from well to do families,well educated but because they were not experienced about life and peers, they ended up being the way they are now.Many of them are now wishing for nothing more than a u-turn because they have ultimately regretted and realised they have wasted their whole lives living it in the hands of wrong peers.

But the common man, with the common mind and the common heart will never understand these things ,what some these men and women are really fighting against.Imagine one person alone battling with Self Esteem,Peer Pressure and Society.I am writing this piece ,not with a smiling face, but with a heavy heart seeing and knowing many of these young men and women ,eligible young men and women, with a bright future they had in front of them had all been taken away from them all in the name of Kush.

Note that this message is an eye opener to everyone ,to victims or non victims alike especially, the ones coming up, the innocent ones who with no clarity and sense of purpose of what the years that lies ahead seem to be like for them;i want you to please read this, "please say no to kush,no to drugs,no to negative peer pressure." If you don't, well you have already seen the result of the same thing that might happen to you.So say no to kush,no to drugs and no to negative peer pressure. ✍️

The only way to know and understand anything in this world is by failing.Successful people around the world understand and know this principle, and that's the core reason they know what they know and the reason they are where they are.It didn't matter if you were going to find yourself doing bad things or finding yourself in bad companies at some point, all that mattered was you were not going to be the same person as you were before after failing and trying the bad things out.That is why the best definition for success is Failure because one is going to learn then what they had never experienced or learned before, they are going to see things differently from the other side of life.And life is made of opposites, and that is why it is so important to be conscious of the both sides of life.You have to force yourself no matter what ,if you are someone who is shy or an introvert, to mix with bad companies and do some bad things at least.And in case you are thinking and wondering if that is going to damage who you are as a person, please Don't because that will never happen to you if you had a strong discipline and wisdom.Your Focus should be on what you are going to learn and gain from the process and experience at the end of the day.True wisdom I tell you comes from failing.There is no other way, you just have to understand that.

You would have to hate yourself for it;Yes, doing things you never thought you shouldn't have.But you should be thankful for it because that is what will shape you into a better and greater human being.So always fail big like Denzel Washington said cause that is the only way to success.Finanlly, you have to have wisdom to differentiate between what's good and what's bad, what's right and what's wrong, what's just and what's evil. ✍️

Most people do not know that it takes time to build, that it takes time to build anything that is worthwhile and worth lasting.Rome was never built in a day but it took the Roman People years of determination,sweat,consistency,dedication and hard work for Rome to be the place it is today.And if you did a research, you would find out that the walls of the buildings were no ordinary walls, they were guaranteed walls up till date.Why that is? That is because the Romans understand clearly the meaning of patience and hard work; that in order for anything to become great, it takes time.And they understood that.✍️

THE LOVE STORY OF JOHN AND VANESSA 🌹🫂👇

It was exactly 7:30 in the morning when he left the house to go and look for his twin brother.On his way going, he came across a very beautiful young girl.He had no choice but to stop her and asked for her name.The girl was urgent she told him.She had been asked by her mother to go and buy milk cause it was morning and the whole family was waiting for the milk to drink tea to start their day.His name was John, and his twin brother's name was Abu.John was the youngest and was an introvert.Both of them had left the city to join their parents at the other side of the country.

However, John managed to know the girl's name.Her name was Vanessa.Coincidentally ,she too had left the city to join her parents in that part of the country.John asked her when next again were they going to see? Because just seeing her face, he couldn't get enough, he wanted more.He then finally saw his brother Abu and explained everything to him about the beautiful girl he just met.Abu was really impressed because hearing John talked about a girl to him for the first time was really a surprise to him,and so he was curious to see the girl John had talked about.✍️

The greatest discovery of mankind is self discovery, finding oneself.And that comes with lots of setbacks and failures.No man ,and this is a fact, has ever been able to find himself without failing.I am emphasising so much on Failing because people are making failing seems as if it is something that is bad;they don't realise the good things,the benefits and the rewards that comes with it.And one of the rewards is Self Discovery, finding oneself.

There are so many people ,I'm saying it with strong conviction, who don't realise who they are, their purpose in life and what their contributions are.And why do you think that is? It is because they are afraid to fail.Benjamin Disraeli once said, "There is no education like adversity." And all about education is discovery, to point one towards something or a particular thing they don't know.✍️

The good thing about GOD I have come to understand and realize over the years is that He shares His Glory with no one and no man.GOD wants His Glory all to Himself,and there is nothing no money,no connections,no nothing in the world can do to change that.GOD changes things,mankind don't.

And the world is such a mistery that whatever we speak or say has a tendency to come to pass.But most people have not taken notice of this fact that whatever they say have a tendency to come to pass.That's a prayer right there in itself manifesting each day in our lives that most do not take notice of.That's why people have to be careful about what they say or allow to come out of their mouth.The world has ears👂,it listens for the Lord's and the devil's.So note that whatever we speak serves as a trial or a victory already in our lives because GOD and the devil have heard of it.

But in this situation ,this trying times, if we centred our faith on GOD alone and not the devil ,the devil will not only be put to shame but we shall overcome and celebrate the goodness of GOD in our lives for a life time.As the Bible Jeremiah 29:11 has it, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil,to give you a future and a hope."

But everything as we know it comes with a price.That's why for victory to come,trial is always given.

So believe GOD ,be careful with whatever you say out there ,and know that whatever you speak or say is already a ticket for you to claim victory or disappointment.
