Freetown Innovation Lab partnership with Access Bank- SL Limited Collected waste on World Environment Day and recycled it into eco-friendly furniture for classrooms.
We donated the furniture to Gateway to Success Primary School, Freetown where kids were learning on the floor.
No more sitting on the floor.

Sierra Leone has one of the youngest populations in Africa. Median age: 19-20 years. Over 70% under 35.

At Freetown Innovation Lab we are harnessing that power.We believe young people don’t just inherit the future we build it.
That’s why we empower women and youth to lead the climate and green revolution.

Our impact so far:
✅ 300 youths trained with green skills
🎯 Target: 1,000 more trained before the end of 2026

This International Youth Day, we have one huge ambition:
Train 1,000 more young people with green skills this year.

This weekend we hosted Wodemaya Africa’s leading blogger and storyteller at Freetown Innovation Lab

We toured our facilities and showcased how our young innovators are solving real problems:
From building aircraft with recycled materials, to converting vehicles to electric, to creating solar solutions from waste.

Freetown Innovation Lab remains the leading hub for Innovation and Green Skills Training in Sierra Leone.

That’s why we partnered with SHE4Peace for the Elevate Men’s Seminar 2.0
The initiative is tackling some of humanity’s biggest social challenges.

Men’s mental health matters.
Every year, 703,000 people die by su***de 77% are men. That’s 541,000 men lost annually. Not because they are weak, but because they were taught not to speak.

She4Peace is creating the answer: a safe space for men to express, be heard, and say _“It’s okay to say I’m not okay.”_

We set up the space with our eco-friendly, recycled furniture and handled the event decorations ♻️. Sustainable style for a cause that truly matters.
