Sierra Leone Police Issue Warrant for Zainab Sheriff

The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have launched a manhunt for Zainab Sheriff, declaring her a wanted person following allegations of serious offenses.

According to an official police release, Sheriff is being sought in connection with charges related to the use of threatening language and incitement of the public. Authorities have called on anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward as the investigation continues.

The PPRC suspension does not impact governance. APC MPs, mayors, chairpersons, and councillors are expected to continue carrying out their official responsibilities. The suspension applies only to APC political activities, including rallies, lower-level elections, and public gatherings.
