Under Stockholm Craft Week 2026 visar Kungsholmens Kulturhus sju kvinnliga konstnärskap i en samlingsutställning där skilda material och uttryck står i centrum. De olika praktikerna skapar en dialog mellan materialens egenskaper och konstnärernas personliga uttryck, och synliggör bredden inom samtida konsthantverk.

“The brooches in the series Becoming chair – share becoming take as their starting point the piece of
jewelry as a method of ”becoming”, a process of coming into being through dialogue with the
materiality of which we, as bodies, are a part, whether we wear it as jewelry, walk upon it, or interact
with it in other ways. For this specific series, I have utilized severed chair legs left over from another
work (Mutation), which was exhibited during Stockholm Craft Week 2024. The chair, an object with
which we typically engage by sitting on it, here emerges in a different form of dialogue, that of the
brooch.”

Fifteen Connections / Femton förbindelser is a group exhibition with fifteen jewellery artists from Sweden, Denmark and Norway, organized in collaboration between PLATINA Stockholm (curator Sofia Björkman), FORMAT Oslo (curators Irija Øwre and Kristin Mannino) and SPACIOUS COPENHAGEN (curator Annette Dam). The exhibition highlights both connections and contrasts, exploring how artists from three Nordic countries develop distinctive expressions and working methods while being part of a shared Nordic and global jewellery context.
The exhibition is a travelling exhibition, starting in Stockholm during Stockholm Craft Week.

At PLATINA we will show Fifteen Connections / Femton förbindelser- a group exhibition with fifteen jewellery artists from Sweden, Denmark and Norway, organized in collaboration between PLATINA Stockholm (curator Sofia Björkman), FORMAT Oslo (curators Irija Øwre and Kristin Mannino) and SPACIOUS COPENHAGEN (curator Annette Dam).
The exhibition highlights both connections and contrasts, exploring how artists from three Nordic countries develop distinctive expressions and working methods while being part of a shared Nordic and global jewellery context. The exhibition is a travelling exhibition, starting in Stockholm.
