Zag Rags

A community of women making Sudanese fabric crafts for sale A small sewing workshop was started in 1994 in Omdurman, Sudan to train women in sewing skills.

These women and their families had been displaced from the Nuba Mountain's region of Sudan due to conflict. A small business enterprise called 'Zag Rags' was established later which provided income generating opportunities for the group.
