Today, 4 June 2026, Ambassador Raymond R. Balabat received Mr. Jan Evan Gaupo, the representative of the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia to the King of the World Philippines 2026 pageant which was held in the Philippines, where he was crowned King of the World Philippines Tourism 2026.

Mr. Gaupo's dedication, confidence, and commitment to representing the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have brought pride and honor to our kababayans .

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Gaupo on his remarkable accomplishment and wish him continued success in his journey.

Prior to departing for the competition in Manila, Jan Evan Gaupo, King of the World Philippines Tourism 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Philippine Labor Attaché in Riyadh, Atty. Dominador A. Salanga, promising to return upon its conclusion. True to his word, he has returned - not only carrying a prestigious title but also bearing the immense pride of representing the global Filipino community on the national stage.

The newly crowned King of the World Tourism 2026, Jan Evan Gaupo, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Raymond R. Balatbat l, Philippine Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to Saudi Arabia, at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Bringing immense pride and honor to the global Filipino community, Gaupo expressed his enthusiasm for utilizing his new platform to actively promote Philippine tourism.

As the curtains close on the recently concluded King of the World Philippines 2026, I am beyond honored and humbled to be crowned as your King of the World Philippines Tourism 2026. This journey has been a whirlwind of growth, coming straight from my professional life in Riyadh to the national stage.

A Heart Full of Gratitude
This victory is not mine alone. It is a shared triumph with the amazing team that made every moment possible:

• To Nay Meg Perez: Thank you for your unwavering trust and for the opportunity to be part of this incredible organization.

• To the Production Team: My sincerest gratitude to Direk Raymund, Direk Marki, Sir C-jhay, Tito Rodgil, Sir Shaq, and Sir Enan. Your tireless dedication and patient guidance empowered each of us to consistently perform at our absolute best.
