A little change of scenery for our summer team-building.
We spent a few days by the Danube, taking a break from the usual routine and, of course, enjoying plenty of good conversations and even more laughs.
Definitely a good way to wrap up the summer. ☀️🌊

We’ve spent quite a bit of time working on fintech and payment products, and one thing that keeps coming up is how quickly things can get complicated as a product grows.
With more integrations, an avalanche of data, and a whole lot of moving parts, it becomes much harder to keep everything clear and under control.
So, we put together the lessons that matter most when fintech products start to scale, from reliability and compliance to keeping complex systems clear, adaptable, and under control.
Plus, we’ve included a few examples from our own projects to illustrate these points.

We’ve been working on a solution for business owners who struggle to keep their social media presence active: Plansy 💫
Being active on social media can significantly boost your business, but realistically, when you’re already wearing so many hats, it’s easy for content to get sidelined.
That’s the exact problem we set out to solve with Plansy.
It brings the whole social media workflow into one place, from content creation to planning, scheduling and performance tracking, while learning the business DNA behind the content: its brand style, tone of voice, niche. Its AI can generate ideas, captions and visuals that feel relevant to the brand. And for online shops, Plansy can also turn products into ready-to-share social media content.
We’d be really curious to hear what you think of Plansy. Your feedback is always welcome, so feel free to let us know! 🙌

We have a little corner on LinkedIn where we regularly share what we’re learning from building software and working on real projects.
This week, we’re looking at where software delivery tends to slow down, and what can be done to make the whole process faster without cutting corners.
We’re also sharing a closer look at our approach to software delivery and what we’ve seen work in practice.
So, if these are the kinds of topics you’re interested in, you can follow our newsletter on LinkedIn. 😀
How to accelerate software delivery without lowering your quality bar AI has had a profound impact on software development, but faster code generation does not necessarily lead to faster delivery. The real bottlenecks of a project emerge much later.
A few highlights from an unforgettable weekend at TOR 2026. 🙌

🥈 2nd place at TOR 2026!
This weekend, our team headed to Isverna, Mehedinți, for an outdoor race that put their strength, endurance, and teamwork to the test.
They finished with 12.322 points and a well-earned place on the podium.
The name may have started as a joke, but the achievement is very real.
Congratulations, WebPain! We’re incredibly proud of you. 🙌🏻

The longer a software team works on a product, the more valuable their shared context becomes.
Past decisions, technical dependencies, business priorities, and the product's history don’t need to be explained repeatedly.
This context enables teams to identify risks earlier, make better decisions, and collaborate more effectively. While technical expertise is important, continuity is also crucial in long-term software partnerships.🤝

Summer holidays can reveal a lot about how well a software project is managed.
When someone important is away, progress can slow down because key information is missing, decisions were never written down, or too much responsibility sits with one person.
So, a few reasonable questions to ask are:
👉 Could the project continue if a key person were unavailable?
👉 Are the most important decisions documented?
👉 Is there someone who can step in when needed?
👉 Is it clear what can pause and what still needs attention?
A strong project can slow down during summer and still remain clear, visible and under control. 💡

AI is already part of the way most engineering teams build software. What's becoming more interesting is how the role of software engineers is evolving. 💻
As implementation becomes more efficient, the focus continues to shift toward understanding business needs, making informed decisions, and evaluating trade-offs that shape products in the long run.
Great engineering has never been just about writing code. Strong technical foundations, sound judgment, and business understanding remain just as important as ever.
Have you noticed any changes in the day-to-day role of software engineers lately? 🧐
