Good software needs people who know each other Not long ago, we realized that some people on our team had been here a year or more and still never met some of their own colleagues. Different projects, all remote, scattered across cities.

Building software for 8 years means you've seen a lot: projects that went exactly as planned, ones that didn't, clients who became long-term partners, and an industry that has shifted more in the last 2 years than in the 6 before that.

Along the way, you pick up those lessons that no course or certification could ever teach you.

Good communication doesn't sound like a competitive advantage until you've worked somewhere that doesn't have it.

This photo goes back to the early days. Just a whiteboard, a few desks, and three senior engineers who chose uncertainty over comfort.

Andrei, Cosmin, and Florin knew the industry. They knew the risks and they knew how much work it would take to build something from scratch.

They did it anyway.

8 years later, Webchain is no longer just an idea between three people.

We've grown into a team people trust to build what really matters to their business.

It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been worth it. 💙

Back in 2024, Air Canada's chatbot gave a passenger the wrong refund information. When it went wrong, they argued the bot wasn't really "them". But a tribunal disagreed and they paid for it.

The lesson isn't "don't use AI." It's about knowing why you're using it before you ship it.
