Haven't talked tech lately with you, but I am inviting you to join the following event organized by , for and with their volunteers, mostly high-school students from Timișoara and beyond, featuring as a VIP volunteer Mureșan, co-founder of Movidius and Country Manager of Intel Romania.

This could be a great opportunity for you to get in closer contact with technology for a noble cause, as EducaTM volunteers are handling, verifying, repairing, configuring and shipping various types of equipment to kids from marginalized families in Romania, combing them with various personal and professional development, including outdoor team-buildings matching the equipment shippments with 24-hours, camping style adventure happenings in places like Cheile Nerei, Lunca Begăii Superioare, Lacul Surduc, Retezat, etc, or interactions with the best professionals from the local tech industry.

After the April, inaugural edition "starring" Ionut Antiu, Shakespeare Talks Tech program continued with an edition focused on machine learning, a technology field that became really hot and promising in the last period.

The Hands-on Introduction to Machine Learning, was designed and delivered by dr. Mariescu-Istodor, a passionate postdoc researcher at the Itä-Suomen yliopisto - University of Eastern Finland (UEF)

Radu helped participants understand the principles of machine learning using examples from the field of image processing/recognition, after coding small routines in pair programming and group work approach.

As Radu run the event using the Finnish Teaching Method, where students own the activity and the interaction with the teacher, other students and the learning environment several members of Machine Lerning Meetup and Timisoara Deep Learn community

Besides kids from Liceul Teoretic "William Shakespeare" several students from "Vlad Tepeș", „Grigore Moisil”, ,,Carmen Sylva'', "Bela Bartok" and "Nikolaus Lenau" high-schools attended the event.

Great to see Timisoara high-school kids are talking better and more tech!

The first monthly Shakespeare Talks Tech event took place Friday, Apr 12th, having Ionut Antiu as guest and speaker!

Ionut is a 27 years old programmer, with a special career path, including:
- an early high-school age app development and nation-wide tech competitions participations,
- university studies and a relatively well-paid job in France,
- a startup-in-mind return to Romania and move to Timisoara,
- a global reach music-focused cloud storage service developed and funded with business angel + VC money and usage fee ,
- a radical decision to discontinue the service due to insufficient traction and growth, following an unsuccessful search for an additional financing round and
- a current challenging job with Western Digital as software development team leader, implying remote work from Timisoara and regular intensive travel to San Francisco.

All these plus the innevitable referrences to technology were the plot of a two hours long, captivating and inspiring presentation, followed by questions and answers, for about 12 of Liceul Teoretic "William Shakespeare" students and 3 guests from Liceul Teoretic „Grigore Moisil” Timișoara.
