WORLD´S FIRST MEGACAR
Koenigsegg is creating six uniquely developed and designed production cars – the One:1 program.
This is one of the most exclusive production car programs ever envisaged.
The hp to kg curb weight ratio is an astonishing 1:1. This is the “dream” equation previously thought impossible. On top of this, the One:1 is the first homologated production car in the world with one Megawatt of power, thereby making it the world´s first series produced Megacar.
These are the reasons for naming the car One:1.

The 2014 One:1 truly raises the bar of performance. The One:1 features new and unique solutions to enhance track performance without compromising top speed or everyday usability, with a stunning visual appearance to go with it.

Examples of features; unique track optimized aero winglets, extended venturi tunnels and side splitters, Le-Mans inspired active wing configuration and optimized active undertrim air management. Large air vents for improved cooling, roof air scoop to support the 1 Megawatt of power, 8250 RPM rev limit, complemented with Custom made Michelin Cup Tires, upgraded rear triplex suspension with carbon bevel springs and active shock absorbers and ride height, combined with upgraded revolutionary Koenigsegg Aircore carbon fiber wheels.

Koenigsegg was the first extreme car manufacturer to take steps toward green technology with the release of the biofuel CCXR in 2007. The One:1, a sibling of the highly competitive Agera R, follows in the footsteps of the CCXR as it also runs on E85 biofuel, race fuel or normal gasoline.

In order to give the One:1 maximum flexibility when it comes to power delivery, Koenigsegg has implemented its patented variable turbo geometry technology in the One:1 program. This technology gives improved response and more low-end torque than otherwise possible. As an example the One:1 engine has over 1000 Nm of torque between 3000 to 7500 rpm, which is truly unheard of.

It seems that a Chinese driver has taken the Porsche 911’s frog-eyed look to a whole new level, sending his car straight into a lake.

The man lost control of the 991-generation 911, exited the road and landed in the water. Judging by the fact that the damage seems to only be found on the right side of the 911, we expect the car to have spun its way to the lake.

As you can see in the adjacent images, the side airbag on the right was deployed, so the crash wasn’t exactly a light one.

The accident took pace in Jinan and saw the driver in a pretty difficult situation. The man climbed onto the hood of the car in order to stay out of the water and had to be rescued by the authorities.

Unveiled in six cities around the world during lavish events yesterday, the 2015 Ford Mustang got a totally different introduction in the United Kingdom.

Even though there were no Ford execs, no journalists and less spotlights, the new pony’s unveiling was exquisite enough as it featured English actress and model Sienna Miller.

What’s more, the man responsible with the shooting was the one and only John Rankin Waddell, Britain’s famous portrait and fashion photographer. Fancy enough? You bet! Nothing beats having a beautiful woman near one of America’s hottest musclecar. Especially since the Ford Mustang is no stranger to such scenarios.

The Tesla Model S is a full-sized electric sedan produced by Tesla Motors.
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official range for the Model S luxury model equipped with a 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is 265 miles (426 km), topping the Tesla Roadster and making the Model S the electric car with the greatest range available in the market.
EPA's energy consumption is rated at 855 kilojoules per kilometre (38 kW·h/100 mi) for a combined fuel economy of 89 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (2.64 L/100 km).
Tesla has also scheduled the release of a base model with a smaller 40 kW·h battery expected to deliver a range of 160 miles (260 km) and mid-range model with a 60 kW·h battery pack, both slated the fourth quarter of 2012.

As customer deliveries as set to commence later this month, McLaren Automotive has continued developing its brand new hybrid supercar this summer, with extreme heat testing throughout USA’s western coast.

An all Carbon Black P1 was subjected to temperatures in excess of 52 degrees Celsius (126 Fahrenheit) through Arizona, California and Nevada, as McLaren is looking to “push the boundaries of all systems and components on track in blistering heat” in order to offer “the best driver’s car on road and track”.

The British manufacturer says it has worked closely with Akebono and Pirelli, who provide the P1 with “the most advanced” braking systems and tires. First deliveries of the McLaren P1 will begin later this month, as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The highly anticipated 2015 Ford Mustang has yet to be unveiled, but a recent batch of spyshots have confirmed long-standing speculations that the sixth-generation pony will sport the Blue Oval’s current design language and move away from its familiar classic cues.

To shed some light on the Mustang’s new front end, the guys over at the Mustang6g forum have come up with a new rendering based on the spyshots that surfaced the Internet a little more than a week ago. And judging by what those photos had to “say” about the Mustang’s new face, we figure this digital shot may very well depict what the 2015 pony will look like.

Evos Concept cues, also found on the Ford Fusion or the Ta**us, are more than obvious, but we’ll let you do the talking on this one. So don’t be shy and tell us what you think.

As we said before, dubstep was made for car videos or to cruise in the sunset having it blasting through your speakers. Going in the club to dance to such thing is pretty dumb and you will look like going through a heart attack.

Here we have another cool video with a Mark4 Toyota Supra posing on such music. And as with the other Supra’s we like and showcase on our blog, this is a proper-customized one. Nothing too fancy, no exaggerated body panels or intricate shapes. Just a discrete body kit that adds a front spoiler chin lip, side skirts and a slightly redesigned rear spoiler.

The visual theme was completed with a black vented hood, headlight eyelids, tinted windows and a set of dark copper seven-spoked concave wheels. So go bellow and hit the play button to see it up close. The song is Marina and the Diamonds - Lies (Zeds Dead Remix) if it gets into your head.
